Terms & Conditions
Gat Creek products are made-to-order. Products ordered through the online reservation system are confirmed, acknowledged, and serviced by an authorized Gat Creek retailer where available. Once a production reservation is made, a representative of your authorized Gat Creek retailer will contact you within two business days to acknowledge your order, provide delivery and sales tax information, and arrange for payment. Furniture orders for delivery in markets not serviced by a local retailer are acknowledged immediately with your credit card or Paypal payment on the website.
Order Cancellations & Changes
Production begins within one or two business days upon confirmation of your order. As a result, order cancellations must be received by Gat Creek customer service, or your Gat Creek authorized retailer, within 24 hours of order acknowledgement for a full refund. Cancellations received after the 24-hour period are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee. Change requests may be possible after the cancellation period expires and are subject to refusal or additional charges as determined by your authorized retailer or Gat Creek customer service. All products are made-to-order and are not returnable.
Production Lead Time
Gat Creek furniture is produced in 28 to 35 days from the time of order until it is ready for shipment.
All prices on the Gat Creek website are in US dollars and are subject to any applicable taxes according to state and local laws. Availability, prices and delivery rates are subject to change.
Shipping and Delivery Rates
Transit times vary from one to four weeks depending on the specialized furniture carrier service to your market and distance from the factory. Shipping and delivery rates for online reservations serviced by an authorized Gat Creek retailer will vary depending on the local market, the size of your order and unique delivery circumstances. Alaska, Hawaii, and certain locations within the continental US requiring complex delivery arrangements (Martha’s Vineyard or other hard-to-reach home locations, for example) can incur additional home delivery charges. Your Gat Creek retailer or our Customer Service department will supply you with a customized delivery quote.
Gat Creek retailers are furniture delivery specialists. They will thoroughly inspect your shipment prior to your delivery appointment and install your furniture to the room and location of your choice. In markets not served by an authorized retailer, delivery service is provided through experienced, independent furniture installers. In all cases, please inspect your furniture carefully before signing the delivery document stating your order arrived in good condition.
Solid wood furniture expands and contracts with changes in temperature and humidity. Please note that all Gat Creek furniture measurements are rounded up to the nearest ½ of an inch and can vary as much as 3/8 of an inch depending on the relevant ambient conditions.
Planning for Delivery
A thorough assessment of the path from the street to the destination of the furniture in your home is recommended before placing your Gat Creek order. Please take into consideration doorways, stairways, tight corners, and lighting fixtures that may get between the delivery truck and the destination of your furniture purchase. Beds are shipped disassembled. Some dining tables are shipped assembled – see dining table product pages for more information about product dimensions and whether the table is shipped fully assembled or partially disassembled.
Should you, the original purchaser, find a defect in workmanship, material or construction in our furniture, please notify your authorized Gat Creek retailer. As long as the problem occurs during normal household use within five years of purchase, Gat Creek will repair or replace the furniture at its option.
