Six Pane Cupboard


Originally, cabinetmakers built cupboards with a small four-inch space between the base and the top doors that they called a pie shelf.  Tom Seely doubled the traditional height to make the space more functional.

Bottom: single fixed wooden shelf
Drawers use traditional center wood glides
