Joe Lehman

Joe Lehman learned woodworking from his father, Harvey, while living in Berkeley Springs.  His first paying job was making wooden knobs for 10 cents a piece on a lathe and in 1969 Joe started building desks for us.   He has twice established Mennonite congregations in new communities and he keeps a “diary” by listing the dates of notable events on the inside of the doors of his tool cabinet – everything from the weather to dates of families moving in and out of the community.
