Rick Kidwell

Rick Kidwell hails from a family rich with old-fashioned ingenuity. His uncle earned local fame from building an airplane out of used bicycle parts and a Corvair motor. Rick started building furniture professionally in 1983 and has built most of the original prototypes of the pieces we sell today. He has created furniture from a blurry drawing on the back of a cocktail napkin. Today, we use white paper and rulers when designing. Regardless, Rick takes designs from paper to reality – in about two days.
